CAMP DETAILS
We are very excited to offer a choral camp, which is open to any child or young adult ages 6 through 16, regardless of musical experience, faith, and background, from July 29 - 31, 2010. Campers will have the opportunity to study with Dr. Wanda Yang Temko, director of the church's Schola Chorister program and renowned vocalist. In addition to daily choir rehearsals, campers will have the opportunity to:
- take class electives
- receive introductory education in theory / ear training / sight singing
- participate in games & team building exercises
- enjoy daily snacks & meals on Saturday
FEE
$25
Scholarships are available, as our hope is that every child will have the opportunity to attend this exciting learning experience and scholarships are available to ensure that no child or young adult is unable to attend due to financial difficulties.
Kid's Registration
The camp fee is due at check-in on Thursday, July 29th. RSPC accepts cash and checks. Checks should be made out to RSPC with 2010 Camp listed in the memo line of the check.

CLASS ELECTIVES
 Group Voice Lessons
Have you ever wanted to take voice lessons? Here's your opportunity to practice singing as a soloist in a fun group setting with one of Atlanta's premier vocalists, Dr. Wanda Yang Temko.
 Beginning Piano/Organ/Harpsichord
Think all keyboard instruments are played the same? Learn the basics of piano, pipe organ, and harpsichord and how these instruments differ in touch and sound. Hands on experience with two harpsichords, a grand piano, and a pipe organ with the church's Organist, Christian Schoen.
 Team Building
Fun team building exercises with a musical twist that will test your mind and your ability to work with your fellow singers with RSPC's Staff Singer, Eric Thomas.
ABOUT THE COACHES
Dr. Wanda Yang Temko, Vocal Coach
Described by critics as having "simply unbelievable vocal power and control," and "a winning stage personality," soprano Wanda Yang Temko holds a Doctorate in performance from the Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana. Other degrees include a Master of Music in Voice Performance from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Liberal Studies from Emory University. An accomplished teacher, her students have attended schools such as Boston University, North Carolina School of the Arts, Centre College, and Agnes Scott College. Dr. Wanda is the Vocal Coach for RSPC's Schola Chorister Program.
Christian Schoen, Accompanist & Keyboards Coach
A native of Heidelberg, Germany, and Organist & Choirmaster at RSPC, Christian has studied piano, organ, and harpsichord with professional musicians at the Interlochen Center for the Arts, the University of Michigan, Capital University, Southern Methodist University, and the University of North Texas. Through his organ studies, he can trace his training as an organist directly to Johann Sebastian Bach.
Eric Thomas, Team Building Coach
Eric is a graduate of the State University of NY at Albany (BA in Music) is currently pursuing a dual Master of Church Music/Master of Divinity program at the Interdenominational Theological Seminary. A member of RSPC's Sanctuary Choir and Chamber Singers, he has first hand experience in musical team building activities geared toward enriching understanding and appreciation of music in group settings for both children and adults.
