We offer a variety of different programs for our members and the surrounding community.

Music Activities
Rock Spring is proud of its Music Ministry, led by our Director of Music, Predrag Gosta. The activities include:

  • Chancel Choir
Rehearsals are held every Wednesday at 7:30pm at the Choir Room, and every Sunday before the Service, at 10:00am.
  • Concert Series
Starting in Fall of 2006, we plan to organize a Concert Series, featuring international musicians, and variety of music.

For more information, visit our Music Ministry's web page.

Live Nativity Scene
Since 1953, the Live Nativity Scene has been held each evening from December 22 to 24 in front of the church as Rock Spring Presbyterian's way of celebrating the birth of Christ with our community.

Church School
It's not just Sunday school for children anymore, although that program is thriving. Our younger children learn about faith, love, Bible stories and joyful Christianity through art, stories, and lessons. As the children grow older, their classes explore deeper meanings of Christianity. Middle school and high school aged children meet for Sunday School and also meet on Sunday evenings for Youth Fellowship and fun.

Adult Sunday school classes vary from formal lessons using Presbyterian curricula to informal discussion groups. These programs seek to enhance our continuing growth in our spirituality, in our relationship with God, and in our understanding of the Christian faith. We have classes for young adults, adult couples, and seniors.

On Wednesday nights following supper at 6:15 PM, we have a program from 7:00 to 7:30 PM covering a variety of topics. Our Wednesday Night Supper is an integral part of our weekly fellowship, with a home cooked meal and a wide variety of educational and entertaining programs.

Both Sunday school classes and Wednesday night programs offer a wonderful opportunity to make friends at the same time we are learning…a Rock Spring Tradition!

Several other groups meet during the week for study, discussion, and social interaction. They include: women's circles; senior citizen activities; a book discussion group; and others.
