The Pastor Nominating Committee places in nomination before you the name of Karen Henn Allamon, a minister of Word and Sacrament, for election as Pastor, Head of Staff of Rock Spring Presbyterian Church. We are unanimous in our conviction that God has led us to Karen and that God has led Karen to us. We ask that the Congregation elect her by ballot and because her election is subject to the approval by the Prebytery of Greater Atlanta, we request that the Congregation elect appropriate persons to present our call to that body.

After our election to this committee more than a year and half ago we began meeting every Tuesday night at the Church. We drafted a Church Information Form and made it available to interested candidates. We received and reviewed sermons on video and audio disc. The journey has been long and tedious. The process has been detailed and demanding. The result is exciting and fills us with joyful and eager expectations.

When we received and read Karen's Personal Information Form we knew it was special. When we met and talked with her in person we knew that she was special. When we heard her preach, we knew that we were establishing a bond that was very special. When we met and reviewed our experience with Karen, we knew that we were being led and offered the opportunity to experience something very, very special. We have no doubt that God intends Karen to be our Pastor and unanimously recommend her to you.
