Welcome to Rock Spring Presbyterian Church

About Us
Rock Spring Presbyterian Church is located in the Piedmont Heights neighborhood of Atlanta at 1824 Piedmont Avenue, between Monroe Drive and Cheshire Bridge Road. We are an active congregation of approximately 200 people from different backgrounds, vocations, ages, and lifestyles. We are united by our commitment to Christ and the values He represents.

Being a believer does not mean that you merely change some of your opinions. It is a shifting of your perspective on life - entering into a new frame of reference from which to live and understand life.

As Presbyterians, we emphasize the presence of God in all things. We seek to blend the wisdom of traditional ways with the challenges and opportunities of the present. We seek to implement the church's stated purpose of promoting justice, forgiveness and love.

Please join us on Sunday mornings for Sunday School at 9:45 am and worship service at 10:55 am.

Worship

  • Sunday School 9:45 am
  • Worship Service 10:55 am
  • Church Office hours: 8:30-3:30, M-F

Rock Spring has a traditional worship service at 10:55 AM each Sunday morning. We seek to provide meaningful worship through music, scripture, thoughtful preaching, prayer, and challenges to live as disciples of Christ.

During Sunday worship, all children sit with their parents for the beginning of the service and then have their own children's lesson at the front of the sanctuary with the pastor. Afterward, the younger children leave for their own worship service which is patterned after the grownups' service, but geared for kids.

As Presbyterians, we emphasize the presence of God in all things. We seek to blend the wisdom of traditional ways with the challenges and opportunities of the present. We seek always to implement the church's stated purpose of promoting justice, forgiveness, and love.

Join Us
As a small congregation, we are able to work toward cultivating a sense of family, where people come to know and care for each other. A true sense of church family is found at Rock Spring Presbyterian.

When you attend a service, look around at the people there. We are all committed to regarding each other and our visitors with acceptance, encouragement, and support.

We encourage all members to become active participants in the life of the church community - cultivating their own personal relationship with God, participating in the church community, and seeking to extend the church's ministry to the outside world.

Please join us as we minister to our community through a blanket and soup ministry, support of local homeless shelters and our Kids' Day Out program, and as we minister to the world through support of missionaries abroad and refugees here.
